Certificate Of Environmental compliance granted

Our bauxite Investment Canyon Resources (ASX: CAY) has been granted a “Certificate of Environmental Compliance” from the Cameroon government for its project.

This is one of the necessary permitting hurdles alongside the pending “Mining Convention” which are precursors for CAY to make a final investment decision and put its project into development.

With the environmental permitting now advanced we hope CAY gets the Mining Convention Agreement with the Cameroon government signed.

Mining Convention Agreement 🔃

The Mining Convention is the key agreement with the State of Cameroon that sets out fiscal and legal rights on the project, and it is the precursor for a mining permit.

Once formally signed, this agreement will allow CAY to begin negotiating offtake agreements and development financing partnerships.

This agreement is key objective #1 of our CAY Investment Memo and is the primary thing we want to see CAY achieve this year.
